The Realignment: Daily Coverage Starts March 2nd + Another Reaction Show on Thursday
Plus, a note on awkward episode timing
Hey everyone, this is a quick announcement about The Realignment’s programming over the next few weeks.
NOTE: Our producer, Phil is off this week, so we pre-recorded an episode on PayPal, Peter Thiel, and Elon Musk. It definitely feels random, and if we could turn around an episode today, I would have pushed it. Still, the conversation’s great, and if you need a break from the news, I can’t recommend the episode enough.
I dropped a quick video/podcast explainer this afternoon, but if you missed it, read on below.
A) We were blown away by how much everyone enjoyed the emergency podcast where Saagar and I just discussed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
So we’re going to do the same thing this Thursday since most of the audience didn’t get the chance to submit questions for discussion.
Email us at realignmentpod@gmail.com for Qs, comment below, or reply to this Substack to get your question in.
B) In general, we’re going to start dropping long-form discussions between Saagar, myself, and eventually other friends of the show on Fridays, a minimum of once per month.
C) I’ve never seen as much audience response to a topic/episode as our Ukraine one last Friday. It’s helpful to figure out what niche your podcast can serve and The Realignment’s ideally suited to covering what we think is one of the most important events of our lives.
If that sounds pretentious or grandiose, the fact that there’s a full-scale war in Europe with tanks, dogfights, and mass-mobilization campaigns really illustrates that the post-WWII international system is realigning to something else.
So, starting Wednesday, I am going to release near-daily interviews/discussions over the next week or so.
You don’t have to listen to every single one, but there are just so many audience questions coming in that this is the only way to engage.
