Love the back and forth episodes between Saagar and Marshall because I believe it forces them to test each other's theories in ways they don't often get to do with the guests. Somewhat disappointing has been Saagar's basic fall back opinion when pushed to talk about how things might resolve regarding Ukraine/Russia/USA: it is fucked and nothing we can do about it at this point, we shouldn't have done X, Y, and Z which probably got us here.
1. What does the Feb 4th document between Russia and China now mean in the context of the invasion? It was brushed over at the time as another piece of propaganda, but does it now carry more weight ?
2. Russia in the broader context, it is easy to get stuck on Ukraine, what about their recent movements and tension with Japan in the Kuril Islands? Do all of these moves show a greater resolution to creating an Asian axis?
3. What are the USA's actual redlines? Will Putin's tactical nukes always trump American action? Will the US really go boots on the ground for Poland, Japan or Estonia if tactical nukes are involved?
