As a neoliberal globalist, I was interested to hear what the “Main Street conservatives” had to say and I came away not worried at all.
I know it’s not Marshall’s style to push back too hard but those two need to be mocked for their “ideas “ which can be generously described as half baked, late night Hillsdale dorm banter.
We should pause immigration until chant immigrants have integrated “enough”? They want America to be like a country song as an ideal? “You know how when you travel and you can just tell someone’s an American…yeah…”
